Or the place could be like a New York town, with different sections for different heroes. I would personally create something from nothing, because that is what I do, but to each his own.
Oh, lists, lists, lists... I have far too many of them. I love making lists. I love brainstorming. The appeal is definitely set there for me.

My problem with lists and stuff is that they go unfinished. That's why I haven't really started any new series or fics lately. I'm trying ot finish up my fics I haven't finished yet.
Yeah, any town can differ, and all to their own really. Buffy would really feel the appeal to sticking around where she isn't alone in hiding her identity. But there is the appeal to Sunnydale in that the place has a lot of denial and they seem to not notice alot of the obvious things...

I have the same problem. That is why I am so thrilled at the possibility of finishing something on my own.
True enough, but people can be ignorant in other places, too. Sunnydale would be a familiar locale, but only if she was privileged enough to have been raised in the mansion Angel used, for example. I suppose it could have been the same house, but... I'd rather have her raised in a glamorous lifestyle. Or, I think that is what I am trying to say... I am uncertain.

Yeah, I like Buffy in glamour to, as is pretty evident in my longer fics, that have yet to have been finished. This inspireation shows that she isn't alone, but is there something that does continue to isolate her? That could be a deciding factor on something that at least is the same to her days in Sunnydale. Did her life as 'Buffy Summers. The Vampire Slayer.' run off of her life as 'Buffy Summers the Superherp'? I mean, what if what happened in her life here with a hero family cause her too go Mad? The things that happened in her life as a super hero might have created scenes that took place in Sunnydale or her life there.
Like, was Celia really killed by a bad guy, adn what about Angel? Is he an ANgelus-like or Angel-like or is he not there in any form to begin with?

Err... that would be a good reason for her to choose the "other world". If Angel was a huge cornerstone to Sunnydale, what really exists to tie her down in Superhero-world? Is she missing something from her life? If she is, the only way she may be able to get it back is to reject the dream world...
Being surrounded by people like her does not necessarily mean there are group-bonding-to-save-the-world sessions. It just means there are more people like her who try to cut themselves off from the world. If Buffy is still her depressed self in Season 6, which she is until near the end, this could be a real wake-up call to realize that being "super" does not mean that she has to always be "human". She just has to be there because there are others willing to fight by her side that will not push her out of their lives.
Something like that.

True. Are you a BA person too? Uhmm... It could be post Becoming2 and she could always go into her own little world instead of or after 'Anne.' If Angel is there, then that could be her minds way of coping, that he isn't really gone. That could spur her on there, and if she goes out of her own mind or decides to stay is up to the author and whatever the place is like. Is it just like a normal city with the occasional broadcasted happening saved by a hero or heroine that the people don't even really know of, or is it the type of thing like the Justice League in that the news people, citizens, and police know who they are by thier hero-name, like Superman or soemthing. Or maybe in her mind, she is the only normal peron, like on the disney movie where the black boy is in a superhero family but because he was born on Sunday or whatever, he doesn't develop powers. That could be a reason shocking her out of the mind-world and back to Sunnydale. THis way, it could happen in between S2 adn S3, and the show will go on... But that's just a thought.

True. Are you a BA person too? I am slowly being converted, I think. I blame all of the nice "Celtic Jewelry" which has become essential to my evenings for reading. Speaking of superheroes... Anne/Lily could be one, too. We can call her "Anne". She is like the mother hen who takes all into her home and protects them from the evil things. Is that not what she did in that one "Angel" episode?

Yeah, fellow love-to-use-Anne person. She could always be the person that gives the big bucks to create shelters, or just some shelter person that has the superheros things (like Alfred) who knows of thier identity. Whether or not if she's a superhero, she should be there. Maybe Buffy saved her from a kidnapping or something in her mind.

Oh, that is perfect! Anne always seems to fit the supporting role. It would be awesome for someone to write her as a leading lady for once.
Perhaps she takes care of the children who will become superheroes that happened to be abandoned or orphaned?

That's how I always thought of her. It would be cool if she was a leading supporter of the heroes, one who knows thier identities or maybe one herself. She could be that carer person for the kids who have powers or abilities that will alienate them from normal people.

That is a superhero in its own right, I suppose. They could dub her "Super-Anne" (sort of like a play on Super-Man) in honor. Besides, maybe she is like a "watcher" or "guardian", training superheroes to be... super or else training them to come into full use of their powers.

That's kinda what I was thinking-a watcher, firned, or maybe a super hero thats gone into retirement (LOL) and now trains others and stuff instead of doing the hero work.

She could be a secret-holder, too, which is why she works undercover (ala Harry Potter). That would be a potential reason for her retirement (poor Anne!). I just realized you are now the Slayer. I have always wondered about the different kinds of ranks Crystal has!

I just realized you are now the Slayer. I have always wondered about the different kinds of ranks Crystal has! And it took this long to start think about the whole thing? Goddessa is actually the reason why I had to change my whole ranking thing. My rank limits were waaaay to low because she was always ready to reach them. Sooo, I had to bring them up a little bit. And she actually has only one rank left at the moment. So congrats, Goddessa! ;D

In the words of a particular Star Wars favorite of mine... I am a slow learner.
I was just noting that I liked your ranking system. It is fun to have ranks like "Master Vampire" and "The Slayer". I'm just thanking Heaven this isn't like this other forum I have seen where everything is a Marines' rank and it takes beyond forever to reach the next level, since they are mostly set.
Oh, and another little bit... I like how you add challenges as films come out in the movies. There are many fantastic ones coming out in the next few months, and it would be awesome to use them in crossovers.
