So, this is my Inspirational Challenge #83. I won't give much more than this pic, so work with it.
What comes into your mind when you look at this pic and read the text? What do you think?
What's the timeline?
Why do they spend so much time together?
What is the truth behind their relationship?
TIP: This is a BTVS / Smallville crossover

Hmm.... this would totally look post-S7... maybe it's during his 'bad boy' phase or something. She is older though so... maybe they have met before or something...

I though too that this could be post-S7. She is broken and lonely, and when she meets Clark, she sees something special when she looks at him. She wants to protect him or help him to find his right path again. Or something...
There could be some interesting 'cat fights' when Lana and Chloe are trying to find out what is so special about Buffy that Clark spends all of his time with her. Let's make Smallville whirl with drama, angst, romance and jealousy!
And what Lex thinks about Clark's so-called obsession for Buffy?

I have two ideas on this one.
One
Buffy arrives after Sunnydale's destruction trying to find her place in the world. In other words, she has no idea what to do with herself. Walking around a foreign town may seem ordinary, until she witnesses something she doesn't believe. Clark Kent. After living with Andrew and his Superman-worshipping, she can't believe her eyes. She has to check it out.
Instead, she finds someone like herself. He's miserable, unable to really cope with a world that he doesn't understand, and the choices he's had to make are so hard that he isn't sure he wants to be a part of the world. Maybe she just spends time with him, trying to convince him that his life isn't a waste and that every life is a gift worth living. They exchange stories of being mutual superheroes. It must give Clark some comfort to know that he is not alone in the whole saving-the-world scenario.
On the other hand, Lana and Chloe are probably jealous because Clark seems so much at peace lately. He feels safe when he's around Buffy. Chloe investigates and discovers that Buffy is a few years older than them and from a now destroyed town in California. She also finds a rather colorful police record. Deciding that Clark might be in danger, Chloe and the others might try to get rid of Buffy... for good.
Bring on the soap opera, Smallville style!
Two
Dead Buffy comes back in the form of a guardian angel. She is given the task to help a young man overcome a dangerous balance between insanity and reality. The more time he spends with her, though, the more she realizes how much of the world she has missed. Clark has loved Lana for so long and Buffy has never really felt that kind of love. Angel couldn't love her that much as he had a soul but not really a heart. Riley did love her that much, but she rejected him. There has to be a balance between hero and man, and somehow she helps him find it, as an angel.
Of course, the others could get kind of worried when Clark starts talking about a dead girl no one knows exists, too.

Aly, I like your plot idea number uno. It's kinda pretty close my own idea.
