What comes into your mind when you look at this pic and read the text? What do you think?
What is the timeline?
What is her purpose?
Why doesn't she remember anything?
How did she end up there?

So, Leeloo wasn't the only perfect specimen, Buffy is there, too?
Hmmm... What if Buffy had a mission, but she forgot everything when she/they was/were attacked. And then she gets her memory back little by little.

Could it really be something as simple as she was sent to save the world again, but bumped her head or whatever during the attack?

That sounds good to me... and maybe Angel has been reincarnated into Brucs Willis's (what's the character name?) best friend or something in the same situation. She remembers her life before (unless it is AU) but something happens or it is repressed or something to where she can only feel the connection and not know why.
Angel of course would be shocked as hell that someone could make him feel at all, but maybe Lelu and Bruce Willis are soulmates (in teh 5th Element) as well.

Or perhaps they were travelling together, both lost their memories and at the end they find one another.

Do you mean that maybe Angel maybe has the ring of Amara back somehow or soemthing. By fate or whatever, tehy find each other again, but somewhere along the line, Angel lost just about all of his memories. And then tehy find one another. Or maybe someone cursed Angel differently, and it took off the vampirism and the other curse as well. Like, maybe he was cursed to live forever and have no memories of his past unless he finds true happiness. (Hey- that's a ryhme!)

Err, yeah.
I was just thinking that Angel was granted magical powers or something. It IS after all a potential future scenario and I think there was mages or something in the film, wasn't there? It has been a few years since I last saw this.
