So, this is my Inspirational Challenge #71. I won't give much more than this pic, so work with it.
What comes into your mind when you look at this pic and read the text? What do you think?
What is the timeline?
What Buffy thinks about her neighbors?
What her neighbors think about her?
TIP: This is a BTVS / Garfield crossover

Post-Season 7 would fit right in.
And BA Always!? Yeah, I love BA fics, but like I have said before, I rarely use that pairing when I do my crossover challenges.

Or maybe she thinks the spirit of one of her friends is suddenly living inside of Garfield... I always thought that he acted a bit like Anya...

Or maybe she thinks the spirit of one of her friends is suddenly living inside of Garfield... I always thought that he acted a bit like Anya... ;D This is absolutely fabulous idea! And when Garfield/Anya finds out who is living in next door, our lovely (lazy) cattie tries to contact Buffy every possible way. And that leads to very funny, ridiculous situations. And what Buffy thinks when she finds neighbor's cat from very funny places...?

What funny places would Garfield/Anya be at? Maybe she ends up in a cash register or a bank or something.

What funny places would Garfield/Anya be at? Maybe she ends up in a cash register or a bank or something. It would be definitely strange that a cat is interested in money. Okay, maybe more than interested, I guess obsessed would be better word... Garfield/Anya could also try to sneak in Buffy's house. Maybe it slips in her bedroom when she is sleeping. Or something...

Garfield has a strange obsession with money. Garfield would also have a strange longing for scotch. Sneaking into Buffy's room would be priceless, especially from the cat's point of view. They could see stakes and be thinking "Vampires? But... there are no vampires here... are there?"... oh, the fun someone would have with this one... the possibilities are endless.

I want to see the movie. But I gotta wait till it comes out to watch... It would defeniteley be funny if Garfield snuck in her room looking for something. Maybe (s)he saw Buffy with somethign priceless like a certain neclace or soemthign and he/she just had to get his hand on it.
Of course, maybe he's/she's trying to get OUT of the house...

To tell the honest truth, I have only seen a very tiny amount of the movie. It is on the list 'to rent' though. I just think of the television show and the comic strip and recall that, yeah, Garfield is definitely one character.
It would be interesting to see the world from Garfield's perspective.

Yeah, I gotta see the movie still. It does look good though. Poor fat cat. Maybe Anya/Garfield is being hunted for some reason by a demon. Maybe the cat ate something precious and now Buffy has to protect the cat/ex-vengeance demon from yet another demon. It could have been a expensive pretty something that suits both the minds of Garfeild and Anya.
Hmm... going with the Garfield.Anya thing, maybe it's something like that happened in scooby doo with the souls typ of thing. her 'matter' got shot into the cat and now the cat is going around with the minds, beliefs, and characteristics of the fat cat and the new human.

It could stand to reason that the demons knew Anya was alive and D'Hoffryn is still after her even after all this time. Garfield has no choice but to ask the help of his next door neighbor who happens to be the scary lady whose basement is full of knives, axes, scythes, and stakes.
I was thinking a "matter" stream too, or even simpler, her being was actually just sort of mixed in with Garfield's and now two minds are trapped in a feline.
Just thinking of that makes me shudder.

That's kinda what I was thinking. Like, maybe Anya herself just got stuck right in with Garfield, and now it's kinda two people in one. They'd probably both be fighting over who does what and what gets done.
