So, this is my Inspirational Challenge #61. I won't give much more than this pic, so work with it.
What comes into your mind when you look at this pic and read the text? What do you think?
What's the timeline?
How did Buffy end up to Hell?
Why Constantine is tripping to Hell again?
TIP: This is a BTVS / Constantine crossover

Hmmm, how'd she get there? Is this a post-Gift stroy where Buffy really did go to hell, or is it AU where she is something else all together? I still have to see that movie though...

If this isn't BTVS AU, we could have at least two possibilities: this could take after S2 - maybe she was sucked into Hell when she fought against Angelus, or this could be after S5 when she jumped into Glory's vortex.
Personally I like that S5 idea. I'd like that she had been in Hell quite sometime already, but she isn't some mindless monster, she is still kicking and fighting, and throwing some witty remarks. And then she meets Constantine...
Maybe she helps him with his newest 'case' in Hell, then he helps her to get away from Hell. But there are of course some trust issues because he really doesn't understand what Buffy is (is she a demon or what?)

That would certainly answer the question of why Spike thinks she came back "wrong". I like the post Season 5 idea, too.
Okay, now I have to see this film.

Hmmm.... I just had a wicked sequel-like idea, or maybe that as a prologue. They meet in hell, and then Buffy gets put in heaven by the PTBs like she was supposed to be. THen she is taken out, and Spike does the "You came back wrong" thing. Buffy is going a little psychotic, and Constantine gets a job at the hellmouth or something, and two (lovers?) good friends meet again... Hmmmmmmmm

This sounds worth trying.
Buffy doesn't wanna tell her friends where she has actually been and what she is been through, and then Constantine comes... How much drama, angst and surprises we can get out of this fic...?

"Oh, and by the way, this is my... *mumbles something inaudible*"
Constantine could have used his powers to send her to Heaven where she belonged, sacrificing his love for her to give her eternal peace, but when he discovered she was still alive, he began to believe in second chances.

Constantine could have used his powers to send her to Heaven where she belonged, sacrificing his love for her to give her eternal peace, but when he discovered she was still alive, he began to believe in second chances. BTW, what would have been her reaction if he really sent her to Heaven? We all remember how Angel left her because he thought she would finally get her normal life if he wasn't with her (and we know how that ended). She didn't take that one really well, so how would she take this one? If Buffy and Constantine were lovers or (really, really) good friends, would she get over that he 'left' her, like Angel did? ~ ~ ~ And I would like to know what actually happened during the time they were in Hell.

Oh, completely. I figure it would add heavily onto the angst-factor. If only one of them could get out of hell, he would probably choose her, while she would probably choose him, and if she were forced to go... well, angst-galore I figure.
And he probably would not consider it "leaving" her, but "saving" her. Angel left her, Constantine would save her. I'm sure that isn't how she would look at it, but her respective lover and sort-of-friend probably could.
This is probably a good reason to make them only friends, because if they were more, it would only lead to more problems in the future.
ETA: As what happened to them in Hell, I would love to know what happened, as well. Could you imagine the amount of trouble they could have gotten into?
ETAx2: I really like your avatar/icon image and your signature image's quote. That is the complete truth!

... so many ideas, so little ability and time to write the goodness that is Buffy 24/7... *sigh* Some things are so unfair.
The Constantine-sent-her-to-heaven thing works... Ooh!Ooh! Ooh! IDEA! What if the PTBs were the ones to send him to hell, and his mission was to send her to heaven where she belonged?! That owuld kesh both the sweet ideas and direct them to the ideas and things we were going for!
As lovers, I can't see cuz I am a BA shipper. But at the same time it would kinda set the B/C thing for the xover that is hinted at. But that's just what I'm saying-the author is the one who actually writes the fic...

I like the idea that the Powers would push them together like that. They would be better off as friends - mainly because I cannot judge their coupleyness as I have yet to see the movie - but it would be a mission for both of them, especially if something evil caused her to go to "hell" in the first place.

As a fellow BA shipper, I will voice my idea. As a friend, Constantine can go to Sunnydale on some mission and find Buffy there lying to her friends about being taken out of hell. As a friend, he can always go to Angel and convince him of going back to his love. And then something could happen that would fully involve the Constantine world with BTVS, and the fic would go on...

As long as it happens before Angel realizes he is in love with Cordelia... the poor boy does not need any more angst on that level!
Two more days until that film opens here, thank goodness. Then I will finally be able to post without sounding like a total airhead.

Uhmmm... about that. Maybe the Devil is planting seeds in Angel's and Cordy's minds to that they are in love or something. That way it wouldn't be true, it would add to the angst level, yet it would bring a way for Angel and Buffy to reconnect thier bond through Constantine's guidance from the PTBs and the evil-PTBs.

Have I ever told you I love the way your devious B/A mind works?
