So, this is my Inspirational Challenge #57. I won't give much more than this pic, so work with it.
What comes into your mind when you look at this pic and read the text? What do you think?
What's the timeline?
How did Buffy react when she found out about her real father, and that her mother wanted to get rid of her?
How did she react when she found out who her father was?
How did she find out about her father's secret life?
TIP: This is a BTVS / Batman crossover

Does (evil-basher)Joyce send her to her real father because she just wants to get rid of her, or because she knows about his 'batman' status?
Does she tell Buffy or wait for the fireworks?
Is Joyce really evil or just basher in this fic?

Oooh, such an interesting idea! I wonder which version of Batman she'd be the child of... and how her parents really met!
I think the timeline should be after Buffy graduates from high school if Joyce gets sick earlier, like in Season 4. In other words, pre-Dawn. I cannot stand the early versions of Dawn - she drove me crazy with her whiny teenager-y ways. That way, Buffy decides not to go to college because she has her destiny to deal with. Well, Joyce pretty much makes a call that forces Buffy to go to college in New York... where her father lives close by.
I am thinking Joyce didn't have a clue about who Bruce Wayne really was. Buffy goes to New York expecting Hank Summers, but when she lands on the doorstep of the infamous mansion, she's thunderstruck. Who is this guy and is he for real?
I think it would take some time for Buffy and Bruce to get along. Joyce had pleaded with Bruce to give his daughter a chance and I think she should tell him why. It would give Buffy a lot of comfort to know that her father saves the world, too.
Joyce and Bruce probably met in New York pre-marriage from Joyce to Hank. She was a curator at some museum and considering Bruce supports a lot of stuff in Gotham City, it would make sense that they would have met at one point of time or another.
I think Buffy and Bruce should really not get along at first. He lives in a creepy mansion with "Alfie" the butler and it is truly not her style. She misses her friends, her mother and the thought of going to college terrifies her considering she barely made it out of high school.
I think some bad guy (one from the films, comics or even one created by the author) should discover that Bruce's daughter has come to Gotham City and kidnaps her. It would force Bruce to show his true colors, and it would better help father and daughter to understand one another, especially if Batman gets to see his daughter in action.
Again, these were just a few ideas.

And if you want the fic to be even more angsty, this could be season 2 fic (Becoming and after that). Joyce finds out about Buffy's Slayer thing and instead of the 'If you leave, you can never come back'-speech, she sends Buffy to her biological father.
At this point Buffy is full of angst - because of her mother who kicked her out of her own home and sent her to some stranger; because Angel is in Hell; because she knows Xander lied to her; because... BECAUSE OF WHAT ELSE?
And when Buffy gets to the mansion of her bright new daddy, she of course starts to explore the house inside and out, and what will she find...?
I like Aly's idea about that villain who kidnaps Bruce's daughter. Maybe Buffy conforts her father about the Batman thing, and they fight or something. And then she is kidnapped, and... Does Batman save the day?
Does anyone else like the idea about Joker as the BIG BAD? What would he do with Buffy if he were the villain who kidnapped Buffy? Okay, this was just a crazy idea, the timeline of Batman could be anything you want.

I was just trying to add a new approach to an older idea. I thought about post Season 2, but then considered something alternative. I think post Season 2 would work best in this scenario.
I would love to see the Joker in the role as the bad guy. But, instead of Vicky Vale the photojournalist that he seems to have an obsession over, what if he obsesses over the daughter of the multimillionaire Bruce Wayne?
Oh, and Batman would try to save the day, no question... but it's only when he realizes his daughter is as super-power-hungry as he is that he realizes that perhaps they can BOTH save the day... once or twice more in the future.

I actually thought about that Vicky Vale thing, and because I never liked her, you can skip her with my permission. I wanted Joker to be the BIG BAD, because he is kinda cool as a villain, and he always had those funny toys and gadgets.

It's be cool if it was the Joker as the momentary bigbad. Maybe Buffy is pregnant (there is a prophecy on ATS talking about the child of two vamps (It can be changed(And maybe it is more cryptic act seeing as Buffy was temporarily a vamp during 'Nightmares'))) But that'sme-you know how I am if you've read any of my fics on FF.net. 'Alfie.' Ilike that. I think Joyce would have had something more to do in an art place then a museum, unless it was an art museum, but whatever floats your boat... What if the Joker ganged up with Druscilla (who dumped Spike already) or the Mayor (who came to Gothatm with Buffy's Fate) or Adam (cuz the Initiative has came to her father's town instead of Sunnydale.)

Well, Buffy being pregnant could have occurred after her seventeenth birthday, right? That would have given Joyce a reason to send Buffy over to Gotham, right? Who better than a father to talk some sense into his daughter?
I would LOVE to see Dru as the Joker's apprentice. That way, both Bruce and Buffy would have someone to fight off.

And Dru could have her reason for "brother" to get Buffy on teh dark side or something. She does want "Daddy" back, and she might know that he will someday return...
