Please, note these rules:

You can post here these kind of fics...

/me General BTVS fanfiction

* Buffy-centric BTVS fics {I read fics where Buffy is paired with Angel(us), Spike or with some unconventional character - I hate Buffy/Xander, Buffy/Riley and Buffy/Giles pairings}

/me You can post other BTVS pairings too, but remember put them correct places

/me General BTVS crossovers

/me Buffy-centric crossovers (please, no other shippers)


PLEASE, check carefully where you post your fics. Try to put them correct categories.

OTHER RULES YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER:

1) The easiest way to publish your fics is put them on your own website and post the links on your story symmary page.

You can publish the stories on the board too, but remember that way your own story and the coming reviews will be mixed together. If you publish only short stories, ficlets, drabbles etc., you can post them to the board, but longer stories can be quite tricky to add here. And there can be only less than 10,000 characters on that post.

2) Please, DO NOT post your NC-17 rated stories ON THE BOARD. Post them to your own webpages and post here the links.

You have to also put a NC-17 warning on your story summary page. Like this (you can use my pic and the link is http://www.geocities.com/crystalcheyenne_journal/nc17.jpg):

The warning MUST BE there even if you're posting only the links.

3) DO NOT post other person's fics or any other material here. If you wanna see someone else's stories here, contact the Goddess, so I can contact the right 'owner' of the fic.

4) Please, beta-read your fics before you post them here.

5) Please, DO NOT steal other people's stories, copy them or anything else close like that.


Those who breaks the rules, will get a warning at first, then if you ignore my warnings repeatedly, I'll have to ban you from here and remove your member account.

These rules is also for your own security also. I don't wanna get my boards deleted because my users won't follow the rules. If those boards are deleted, you lose your own work too. So, please, don't ignore my warnings.

I Want To Post My Story Here, What Should I Do!

If you want to post your stories here, follow these steps:


1) If you are newbie here, contact Admin first (CrystalCheyenne) via PM or E-Mail. This is required if you haven't published any stories yet.

2) Make sure your story fits here. If you're unsure, contact Admin.

3) Follow Board Rules, and DO NOT break them.

4) Make sure you publish your story in correct category.

5) Make a summary page for every new fic.

6) When you're posting your stories, give them proper thread titles, like this:

Author name - Fic Title - Possible R or NC-17 rating

7) When you're posting your stories, give them proper details, like:

TITLE: Fics name
AUTHOR: Author's name
(FANDOM: BTVS / Crossover / Another Crossover / And Another)
RATING: G / PG / PG-13 / R / NC-17 (and a warning pic)
GENRE: Drama / Action / Adventure / Horror / Humor / Romance / Angst...
TYPE: WIP / COMPLETE
PAIRING: Buffy / Someone
SUMMARY: Blah, blah, blah...
COMMENTS: ...

And then the fic:

Either give URL, like this

Chapter 1: web link1
Chapter 2: web link2...

or write the story here, like this

Story here, story here, story here... more story....

If you have web site, use the URLs. You can do the links easily. Just do this....

Remember that you can't post NC-17 stories on the board.

8) When you have published your story, go to Public Records category and update your page where all your story summaries are - you could say it's your author summary page. (If you have already published your stories here, you should have one.)

You put short summaries about all your fics on that page, and you should also put a warning message to your readers that they can't review your stories there. All the reviews should go to story summary pages, not your author summary page.

Put short link from there to those story pages. Don't put here more than an update noticement. Put more details on the story pages.

If you don't know what it should look like, check mine.


9) Go also to Hall of Fame board, and there to Story Highlights, and write a short update message so everyone knows you have updated your story.
